Independent sources for checking a contractor, understanding the ground under your slab, finding out what your city requires, and getting help paying for work. None of these are affiliated with us.
Worth knowing: Oklahoma does not license concrete or general contractors at state level the way it licenses plumbers and electricians. There is usually no license number to check, and its absence is not a red flag. That makes insurance certificates, references from work two or more years old, and a written scope your real verification tools.
Verifying a contractor

What usually needs a permit
Replacing a residential driveway in kind often does not. New construction, anything in the public right-of-way, a new approach onto a public street, and work that changes drainage generally does. Sidewalk work in the right-of-way is the most commonly permitted category statewide.
